Second demo for that WIP voice bank! I was really hoping to have more recordings for it done by now, but naturally I went and got a cold the very day that I managed to get my computer and microphone to work with each other. So I guess those’ll be a little longer yet!
Anyways, the song is Q, by siinamota/ぽわぽわP, and the UST was made by AsterSelene.

Ah, I did end up pulling the voice bank out of Utau’s ‘voice’ folder and the OTO seems to be cooperating with me now |D Tho it is frustrating not knowing why it wasn’t working with me to begin with, I’m glad it’s working now.

I was going to do that! I can’t open the OTO file in Notepad at all, though :c It just… doesn’t show up when I look in the folder with the recordings. The only time I can see it at all is when I look for said recordings using Utau or Oremo, and then I can only see the OTO, not open it; the image for it has this little lock symbol on it and I can’t seem to find a way to ‘unlock’ it so that it’s visible or edit-able by me.
don’t put your banks in the voice folder
I could try that. It’s just one voice bank out of the 13 I currently have saved in my voice folder, though, and I’ve never had this problem with a single other of those banks, which is why I was worried/curious 6_9
Yo guys have any of you ever had a problem with the OTO.ini file for one of your voicebanks just spontaneously resetting or deleting itself or showing up only as a “locked” file so that you have no way of editing it?
I’ve never had this problem before but all of a sudden all three have happened within the span of two days HELP PLEASE?
Demo for a new voicebank! Or rather part of a new voice bank; I intend for the final version to include three or four different pitches as opposed to the single bank used for this song.
Some of the sounds need redoing (the ‘ta’s and ‘da’s in particular) but it is a WIP voice bank that will be improved with each demo.
I’ve listened to this too many times in a row to tell if the mixing is any good any more but I think it’s all right?
